News: Young Jeezy Goes Hunting, "I'm Looking For The N*gga Who Leaked My Sh*t"

A day away from his long-awaited Thug Motivation 103 album release, Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy has opened up about his LP and what really caused the delay.
Also acknowledging his album prematurely hitting the Internet a few days ago, Jeezy said personal matters sidelined TM103 for roughly two years.
"Yeah, I'm looking for the n*gga who leaked my sh*t," Jeezy said in an interview when informed of his album leaking. "It wasn't really a journey. I had a few things happen in between, a couple things with some of my homies, a little light sh*t. I was always working. That's why I kept putting out mixtapes. When I thought about it, I wanted to put the album out the top of the year, 2012. That was my plan. That's why I do my albums with my own money, so I can control it. Because the labels wanna do things on their own time to meet their quotas. I get it. But sometimes when you're making music for a culture, you gotta do it when the time is right. It becomes microwaved shit, put it in 15 minutes and you move to the next." (Global Grind)
Last week, Jeezy said he was not stressed over his music illegally circulating online.
"Yeah, it's all good, man," Jeezy said during a live Ustream session. "We ain't tripping off those suckers leaking nothing. Real n*ggas ride with real n*ggas, you know. Real n*ggas gonna go and purchase that album. That sh*t ain't just about the music. It's a movement, man. We all we got. It's us and then it's them, baby. You know what I mean? We all we got and I gotcha." (Ustream)
Recently, the "Snowman" offered his take on album leaks getting popularized these days.
"It's just a crazy time in music because I remember when there was a time when we couldn't wait just to go in the store and buy [an album] so I don't understand, what's the rush?," Jeezy tells VIBE. "I mean you can't rush greatness if something comes out and somebody puts hard work into it and you're a fan of it you should want to purchase it and support him. It's not about the money to me, it's about the act you know -- pulling up to the mall, getting out your car and actually going to buy something that you dig, that you feel is worth it." (VIBE)
Earlier this month, the rapper announced his new LP would mark the conclusion of his Thug Motivation series.
"I think this is the last one," Jeezy said in an interview. "That's why I put it together the way I did, you know. It's on to the next chapter, the next phase. We did TM 101, which was [the first] Thug Motivation, 2 milli, changed the game a lil' bit. I like to call it a classic. Just a lil' bit though. ... We did The Inspiration. I didn't call it 102, but I think everybody in the streets called it 102 so I had to kind of ride with that. And then of course The Recession, shout out to Barack Obama, so now we're back to motivating the thugs. ... 2012, I just wanted to be there for my people." (WPGC 95.5)
Young Jeezy's Thug Motivation 103 hits stores Tuesday, December 20th.
