[The AK A.K.A.: With the holiday shopping season causing a ruckus nationwide this week, SOHH's featuring entertainment personalities naming the most underrated emcees with the illest lethal rap alias. After producer Cavie gave Deadly Threat the title earlier this week, reggae star Shaggy crowns Assassin SOHH Underrated.]

Assassin (SOHH Underrated)

The most underrated is dancehall artist Assassin. Assassin is definitely one of the people that I think fills that [SOHH Underrated] bill. In hip-hop I would [say] Ludacris.

When it comes to Assassin, it's lyrical. When you listen to what he's saying, he's definitely making some of the better records [out there.] Lyrically he's saying stuff, a lot of thought-provoking things in his lyrics.

But he's not an eccentric, he's not a controversial guy. He's not the kind of guy that's gonna quarrel or make a problem with another artist.

He's not that kind of cat that's going to be dressing wild and doing all kinds of crazy stuff. People tend to not really get into it because it's not in a real dark form. But I feel like he's one of the most relevant, in my opinion.

Luda is kind of the same way where he's really nice and friendly, but he spits some of the hottest sh*t.

After one decade, six albums, two of the multi-platinums, five #1 hits, and eleven top ten singles worldwide, Grammy-winning Big Yard recording artist Shaggy is still on the grind. Making music that celebrates his culture and being an ambassador for Reggae music has always been the driving force in the heart of Jamaica's only living Diamond-plus selling Dancehall Reggae artist.
