News: Shawty Lo Feels "Blessed" Following Hospitalization Reports

A day after reports emerged online claiming Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo has been hospitalized due to medical complications, the D4L/G-Unit artist has assured fans he is getting better.
Brief with his words, Shawty promised he would make a return in the near future.
"I'm feelin a lil better, thinks for all the support and love, see yall in a min #1love," he tweeted December 22nd.

Thsi week, Shawty's manager issued a statement confirming the hospitalization reports.
"We appreciate the outpouring of concern and prayers. Shawty Lo was hospitalized yesterday," his manager Johnnie Cabbell said. "He suffers from Diabetes and had to seek immediate medical attention, although he is now resting and doing well," Cabbell continued. "He will be able to fulfill his scheduled upcoming performances and appearances." (RapFix)
Speculation on the rapper's health condition hit the Internet yesterday.
Shawty Lo has been hospitalized due to his struggle with diabetes. He has been in the hospital since the weekend. He is on bed rest and as far as we know. Lo has recently been on the tour all across the US and has been everywhere from San Diego to Milwaukee to VA without resting as he should. Bottom Line Lo needs to take care of himself and stop drinking and start eating correct. (Media Take Out)
Last June, Chicago rapper Rhymefest was rushed to a hospital due to Diabetes compilcations.
"I'm back y'all, thanks 4 the prayers and well wishers. I got released from the hospital over the weekend. Diabetes is manageable so I'm good," he tweeted Monday (June 6th).
