"London, England, South of France. And all points between they know about your man" -- Jay-Z

Welp. Seems like Jigga wasn't lying. Queen Elizabeth II is turning 85, and British pop star Gary Barlow is building a nice starting line up of entertainers to help her party like it's 1929. This list of artists includes RocNation head honcho and rap icon Jay-Z.

British pop star Gary Barlow is eyeing a star-studded line-up for Queen Elizabeth II's 85th birthday celebrations - he's planning to include Jay-Z, Coldplay and Sir Cliff Richard on the bill. The Take That star has been charged with organising the entertainment for the British monarch's joint birthday and Diamond Jubilee party next year, to mark her 60th year on the throne. He has been consulting members of the royal family for tips on who they'd love to see performing at the bash - and he'll have to call in favors from a wide range of showbiz pals if he's going to keep all the VIP guests happy.(Chron.com)

Gary went on to say that members of the royal family specifically asked for Jigga.

Barlow tells Grazia magazine, "Two hours to fill, who can I book? I've had three requests from the royal household. The Princes want Jay-Z and Coldplay, and the Queen wants Cliff Richard."(Chron.com)

Here are a couple of songs that Hov could spit for the British royals:

Forever Young

Every woman wants to feel young. And as Queen Lizzy rings in not only her 85th year on Earth but her 60th year on the throne, its more important than ever to let her know she can still rock out with her crown out.

Politics as Usual

Even though the role of the modern day Royal Family is largely ceremonial, they still like to dabble in politics every now and then. Sure, Hov was speaking on his days as a dope dealer on the mean streets of Brooklyn, but that doesn't mean Queen Elizabeth and company can't relate, after all, the Boston Tea Party was basically based on a bunch of unruly Americans trying to knock the U.K.'s hustle. Holla back.

All Around the World

On this track from The Blueprint 2: The Gift and The Disc With A Few Hot Joints, Jigga raps about the many misadventures he experiences while living the jetset lifestyle. Well, this is the perfect song for an American artist to sing abroad: Not only does Hov get to name drop all the cool places he's been, he gets to say the word "bloke" which would pretty much get you beat up anywhere else in the world.

Congrats to Queen Elizabeth for turning 85, you don't look a day over 84. And congrats to Hov for once again taking Hip Hop to another level. SOHH Watcha think about Hov possibly rapping for Queen E?

UPDATE: Peep this new track by Jeezy f/ Eminem and Freddie Gibbs
