Odd Future leader Tyler, the Creator is gearing for a follow-up to this year's Goblin but is aiming to take a new approach from the content his fans have been accustomed to hearing from the controversial artist.

If things go accordingly, Tyler's upcoming Wolf album will be more hippie-inspired.

"Talking about rape and cutting bodies up, it just doesn't interest me anymore," he says, contemplative and sincere, looking directly into my eyes, now sitting cross-legged on the hotel bed. "What interests me is making weird hippie music for people to get high to. With Wolf, I'll brag a little bit more, talk about money and buying shit. But not like any other rapper, I'll be a smart-ass about it. Now it's just girls throwing themselves at me and shit, but I got a girl back home. People who want the first album again, I can't do that. I was 18, broke as f*ck. On my third album, I have money and I'm hanging out with my idols. I can't rap about the same sh*t." (SPIN)

Earlier this year, Tyler's Goblin sophomore album sold just under 50,000 copies in its opening week.

Tyler's sophomore LP fell victim to online hackers a week prior.

Tyler The Creator has now joined many other hotly anticipated acts in a fashion that some may think is nothing more than a timely dupe - the Odd Future's de facto leader's album Goblin, backed by popular British indie XL Recordings, has leaked to the Web and it is causing a frenzy like no other. After duping fans with fabricated leaks of his debut album adding Celine Dionsongs and other humorous bits according to tweets from the Odd Future Wolf Gang leader, it seems that an official leak of the album has hit the web and rabid fans have snatched it up to dissect the release - yet some supportive OFWGKTA fans are defiantly refusing to download the leaks until the album's official May 10 release. Recently, West Coast rapper Game likened Tyler to Grammy-winning rapper Eminem.

"When you're on a song with Tyler you can say whatever the f*ck you want," Game said. "I always say what I want but I don't think I go as far as Tyler...I think he's like the West Coast Eminem. He don't give a f*ck. He just rhyme about whatever and it's like right out of an open book. I like him more than I like most new rappers. He don't really want anything other than just to rap." Wolf is expected to hit stores in May 2012.
