Top 5 Dead Or Alive: "They Were The First Ruthless Motherf*ckas"

Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After Termanology dished out his top five emcees, Harlem's A$AP Rocky serves up his own 5 fave crews of all time.
OutKast. Those two guys together were funkadelic. They had a little pizzazz. Big Boi was on his pimp sh*t and Andre was on his Mars and Pluto sh*t. [They had] futuristic, awkward sh*t that blended together so well. I admire that.
UGK. UGK lived up to their name: They really were the Underground Kingz. They're legends and their music is phenomenal.
Wu-Tang Clan. Wu set the standard format for 90's Hip-Hop, you know? Wu-Tang had a really big influence on the culture. You gotta understand that they came with the Kung-Fu and all of that sh*t. Even if they didn't know too much about it, that whole influence was what they were all about. My team is the same way, except we're about Screwed Music. We like that slowed down sh*t.
That was the first type of rap music I was exposed to.
NWA.They were the first ruthless motherf*ckas. They were the ones that brought real attitude to hip-hop. They set that all-black format, you gotta love that.
