Singled Out: "'Support Your Local Drug Dealer' Is Definitely Going To Answer Questions About Me""

Really, when I first got involved in this rap sh*t, I was trying to be as lyrical as possible. But my mood at the time plays a big part in to how my music sounds. The last mixtape I put out was Limosa Nostra Act 4. It's a dark, gloomy project. My album, Support You Local Drug Dealer is up next.
There's a song on there called "Light Up" and is probably my most lyrical record yet.
At that time I was still on probation. Back in August of 2010 I was locked up in L.A. [for possession of] two ounces of weed. People get into my personal life alot and they say or wonder about certain things, Support Your Local Drug Dealer is definitely going to answer questions and let people know whats going on with me.
Funny thing is, smoking doesn't really play into my creativity as far as music making. I like the act of smoking more than anything else. I'm just the kind of person where I'd rather be high than drunk.
When you're drunk you're mind goes to one place, but when you're smoking your mind goes into all sorts of crazy places. I've always been an emotional speaker and I speak on things that are true to my life. So that was the main thing with this track for me.
