Two Chainz [formerly known as Tity Boi] has seen a career revival of sorts. After parting ways with the Ludacris led crew DTP the chained one has been gettin' mad shine (no pun intended) as his recently released mixtape has garnered praise from fans and critics alike.

It's not uncommon for a rapper to switch up their stage name after a few years in the name. Even if it's not official (Jay-Z went from "Jigga", to "Hov" to "The Big Homie" and Diddy has endured more name changes than a six-time divorcee) a name switch is a way to freshen up a tired title.

With that said, here are a few spitters we feel may benefit from going as something a little ... different for a while:

Rapper: JoJo Simmons

New Rap Name: Diggy Simmons

Ok, hear us out. Brothers share everything: Clothes, video games ... why not let JoJo rap under the name of his lil' bro? Diggy has the tween market on lock, JoJo could drop a mixtape under the name "Diggy Sims" and snatch up all the pre-teen Hip Hop heads that like their rappers low on cursewords and high on Mountain Dew. Just sayin'.

Rapper: Mims

New Rap Name: Smim

"Smim" is "Mims" spelled backwards. That's right, Mims needs to start everything from the beginning on some Benjamin Button sh*t and take back that infamous "I can sell a mil sayin' nothing on a track" line. This time around, say something on a track.

Rapper: Drake

New Rap Name: Coogi Mane

Again, you don't necessarily have to have a struggling career to switch ya style up. Drizzy's shining right now, and after his sophomore album drops, it maybe time to pick up a new alias. "Heartbreak Drake" and "Wheelchair Jimmy" aren't gangsta. Ask Gucci Mane: N*ggas love rapper's named after high end clothing. Try it out, see if it fits.

These are just a few rappers we'd like to see get a new name. SOHH Watcha Think -- Can a new name help an MC revamp his movement?

Speaking of the homie 2 Chainz, check out this hot new track from his new mixtape, T.R.U. REALigion, titled "One Day at a Time" featuring Jadakiss:
