Late night talk show host Chelsea Handler tried to get Young Money's Drake to spill the beans on his relationship alongside Nicki Minaj and find out if their bond is deeper than music this week on "Chelsea Lately."
Despite Handler's playfully pursuit, Drizzy denied a sexual romance with his Young Money sidekick.
Chelsea: Oh yeah, what's the deal with you and Nicki?
Drake: Ah. What do you, in what sense?
Chelase: Like in penetration context? Am I being confusing?
Chelsea: Didn't you guys, there's rumors that you guys were, you were hitting that, right?
Drake: Really? Is that a rumor? Ah, no, I'm a huge Nicki Minaj fan.
Chelsea: I'll take that as a confirmation. I like her a lot too. She's great. I'm very happy about both of your success. Not that that really matters to you but I think you're very talented as does everyone and Nicki as well. So if you guys end up together, I can support that. ("Chelsea Lately")
Recently, Drake admitted the self-proclaimed "Barbie" would make his ideal soulmate.
"If there's any woman in my life that's the ideal woman for me, it's definitely Nicki," said Drake. "I like the stripped-down Nicki. I like Nicki with no makeup, black hair, some casual clothes in a recording booth rapping an amazing verse. That's sexy to me." He added, "I know some great women, but all jokes aside, Nicki is somebody I could spend my life with because I think we understand each other." (The Daily Beast)
In October, Drake said he still had high hopes of marriage to Nicki.
"I don't know if we were really pretending. I'd marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me," Drake reveals about his Young Money group member. "I guess I thought it was more [with me and Rihanna]. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind." (Elle Magazine)
Last month, Nicki entertained the idea of starting a family later down the road.
Having gotten past those low points, the MC tells the magazine that she has firm plans for a bright future. "I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys," she predicted. "And I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that will have a bun in the oven. ... My whole life is about being Nicki Minaj now. It's a never-ending saga." (MTV)
