Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame has confirmed speculation and rumors claiming he has officially linked with former Death Row Records owner Suge Knight.

According to Flocka, Knight is providing career guidance.

"It's valid. It ain't no rumors. It's what it is," Waka said about working with the Death Row Records co-founder. "You gotta really start pulling in people in the game who know the game. Suge is not the only one. I'mma start snatching in the real ones. Suge helped me get a good movie deal. Now I need to get on the TV screen. Ain't nothing wrong with f*ckin' with some Gs. I f*ck with Master P too. They're just good for information homie. He's helping me oversee the company. I'm not trying to be 'Pac, I'm not trying to be Death Row. I'm Brick Squad Monopoly. My mother is still my manager. I ain't changing sh*t. It is what it is. But its like having [Michael] Jordan and Kobe [Bryant]. Why not play with both?" (XXL Mag)

A year ago, Waka Flocka and Knight were spotted together in Los Angeles.

Waka Flocka Flame performed in L.A. recently and Suge Knight popped up backstage. The two posed for pictures before Waka went about his business. I don't know why this is even news but I guess anytime Suge Knight pops up it's a story. What I do know is that if my boo Waka turns up missing, Suge will be my primary suspect. Around mid-October, rap mogul Irv Gotti revealed Knight's past plans to unionize artists.

"It wasn't a distribution; it was a union. In the music business, the artists, we have no union. There's no health care, it's nothing like that. It should be done," Gotti explained in an interview. "It was all his plan, and it was a h*ll of a plan -- He was like, 'OK, say you got a million-dollar budget. We're gonna make the record label make it a million and one.' Now, this will all get recouped back to the artist, but that hundred thousand will go for the union." (MTV)

Outside of music, Knight is having a documentary made focusing on him.

Controversial Death Row Records co-founder Marion "Suge" Knight Jr. is the focus of a documentary that will be produced by and broadcast on Showtime, the network announced Tuesday. Tentively titled "Suge Knight," the film will be directed by Antoine Fuqua ("Training Day," "Brooklyn's Finest") and co-produced by Fuqua and Bradley J. Fischer ("Black Swan," "Shutter Island," "Zodiac"). Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and former Times reporter Chuck Philips is also one of the film's co-producers. Showtime said the Knight film is the first in a series of documentaries for the network from "talented and prestigious filmmakers" that "will spotlight iconic and controversial figures."
