Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em is going with the philosophy "innocent until proven guilty" by declaring his innocence to fans this week following an arrest.
Despite getting busted on drug and weapon possession earlier this week in Georgia, Soulja Boy said he is not a criminal.
Soulja Boy was arrested Tuesday, October 18 morning on marijuana and gun possession charges. The 21-year-old rapper, however, is adamant he's innocent. In fact, he proclaimed his innocence to his screaming fans when he walked out of jail after posting a $10,000 bond later that day. "I'm innocent man. I love you all. I just want you'll to know I'm innocent," declared the "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" MC, whose real name is DeAndre Way. CBS Atlanta detailed that he made the quick statement while being escorted to an awaiting car outside a bail bond company by his bodyguards. (Ace Showbiz)

A local police spokesperson confirmed the bust and said weapons were also discovered.
Temple Police spokeswoman officer Dana Rampy said the policeman who made the stop searched the car and found "a substantial amount" of marijuana, cash and handguns in the vehicle. Way and his four travelmates were each charged with marijuana possession, marijuana possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and were taken to the Carroll County Jail. "It was a lot of marijuana," Rampy told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, although she could not disclose the exact amount. "All of the individuals were very cooperative," she said. (Access Atlanta)
