Maybach Music Group leader Rick Ross has stepped forward to clear the air once and for all on his issues with hip-hop newcomer Kreayshawn and fellow Def Jam labelmate Young Jeezy, respectively.

Regarding  Kreay, the "Boss" said she should have known better than to poke fun at him and then appear at the Video Music Awards 2011 ceremony in late August.

"I mean, you gotta understand, this is pretty much what it was. It never was really a big deal to me," Ross told Funkmaster Flex. "She never got the memo that you can get on Twitter, you can get on blogs and you can say whatever you want to say -- but when she didn't get the memo, people that usually do that to me usually don't go to the awards where I'm gonna be at. They usually fall back...Usually when you do that, you don't be in the same room as I am. I just so happened to walk around the corner [at the VMAs show] and I was about to do an interview and I saw her face, so I just kind of introduced myself from afar. If this is what you were looking for, I got that for you. I went on enjoying my night." (Hot 97)

Ross also used the opportunity to sum up the overall problem between him and Jeezy is all about.

"You gotta understand, when you talk about this street life and being one hundred and being solid, it's certain things that you just bring to a person," Ross added. "That's what I was expecting. And that never happened. However homie feel, that's him. Just all the way being real -- we were just at the BET Awards, and I sat in the front row, and he performed. If it's any pressure, handle it right then." (Hot 97)

This week, Kreay blamed her fame and new notoriety for fueling the Ross tensions.

"I definitely learned a good lesson on, you know, 'cause what I said about him wasn't like, I don't have any problem with him, you know what I'm saying," Kreay said in an interview. "I've listened to his music. He's Rick Ross, he's a boss. You know what I'm saying? I never had a problem with him, it's just me goofing off with my friends and taking it too far. And if I was nobody, it wouldn't have even mattered but now that I have the star power -- it's a big deal. It's definitely taught me to watch what I'm saying at certain times. Especially saying stuff that you don't really mean, joking off with your friends. Every day is a learning process and everything happens really fast. So it's definitely quick learning." In July, Def Jam South President DJ Khaled said the dispute between Ross and Jeezy was squashed.

"Well first of all, I don't condone problems," Khaled explained in an interview with radio host Bootleg Kev. "That's what I do. I represent that love and making great music. And them two guys, they don't have no problems. So, you know, I guess this is an exclusive, they don't have problems. I guess people in the streets, they try to make things into a problem. But that's just life. That's when you know you're hot and that's just part of the game, man. Being in the game and being successful, you have to deal with things like that. But you know, they ain't got not problems. It's all love. I don't know what to tell you. It's all love." (Bootleg Kev)
