As you peep the vids, check the flows and wordplay. Then answer our Question of the Day: What rapper/duo murdered the "Otis" beat?
Standout Bar: "N*ggaz tryna find the wave? Getta brush then. Love money and ain't got none? That's a crush then. Money talks, n*gga you broke: Hush then."
Review: I mean, it's cool. Couple slick bars. But easily gets lost among the other versions.
Standout Bar: "Claimin' that you movin them birds -- we know you lie alot. You fickle, you couldn't hustle a nickel outta dime spot."
Review: Pap still got that rapid-fire flow, son. Lotta slick lines in this one right here. Outta the gang of "Otis" remixes, this is most def a standout joint.
Freeway & Young Chris
Standout Bar: "I'mma diamond in the rough like Alicia on a Baby Grande." - Freeway
Review: Niiiiice. Free and Chris still got it, but the constant name dropping of Jay-Z and references to their Roc days distracts you from the flow and makes you wonder what woulda happened if Roc-A-Fella had never crumbled. Hot joint though.
Styles P. & Jadakiss
Standout Bar: "[Styles] Always been the hardest, now I'm just way better than every f*ckin artist. [Jada]Everybody's a target."
Review:Pound-for-pound, it doesn't get much better that a classic Styles and Kiss back and forth flow. As expected, the duo rock out on this track, with Styles sounding a bit more energetic than his man Jada. Still my personal favorite.
Honorable Mention: Game
Standout Bar: "N*ggas be chasin' they youth, but its gone. Yo 'Ye: This n*gga aint even wanna put you on."'
Review: Ok, yeah. So technically since Game didn't ride the same beat, its unfair to throw him in the mix, but this version is more like a remix/diss (dissmix?) of the original. Game still believes in namedropping, let it go son.
