Monday, Aug 8, 2011 6:20AM
Jay-Z and Kanye West dropped their megaton bomb Sunday evening and the web went bananas. No video, multiple release dates and rumors of behind the scenes tension aside, Watch The Throne is here. Our question of the day is straight no chaser -- Did WTT live up to your expectations?

There used to be a time when you had to run to the store, cop the CD and wait 'til the next day to get everyone's opinion on the album. Nowadays, you get the music, give it a good listen and read the opinions of thousands all from the comfort of your home. With that said, let's look toward the Twitter world and see what a couple artists had to say about WTT.
"#WTT as a whole is not for me. I can rock with New Day & The Joy."
"As a musician/beatmaker/active participant in hip-hop, I want to be SCARED when I hear something, like when I heard Aquemini."
"OMG at 'Welcome To The Jungle' #watchthethrone."
"Hov's verse on "Who Gone Stop Me" is gettin a 4th listen at 2am."
"this mofo is killing me ROTF: "Damn Yeezy, they all gotta be dimes? / Well, Adam gave up a rib so mine better be prime"
Mind you, it hasn't been a full 24 hours and some already love it, others not so much. Yeezy and Jay set the bar high with this one, but one thing's for sure: We'll be hearing lyrics quoted from this album beginning today through the remainder of 2011.
SOHH Watcha Think -- Was WTT worth the wait or a total letdown?
Also released Sunday were a few new tracks from J. Cole, packaged together as Any Given Sunday Part 2. Check out a couple here:
