While RZA continues to put together the upcoming Man With the Iron Fists kung-fu flick, film producer Eli Roth has shed light on the Wu-Tang Clan leader's latest project.

Roth promises the flick will please martial arts and Wu fanatics alike.

It's really fun. I wrote it with RZA from Wu-Tang. It's going to be insane. We wrote it together and RZA directed it; he stars in it with Russell Crowe. And one of the producers, the guy I did Last Exorcism with, we're editing it right now. So it's really fun," he explains. "RZA did an amazing job, it's like he's had this movie in his head since he was a kid and it all came out. It's totally insane and I think action fans, Wu fans, and fans in general are going to love it," he adds. (RumorFix)

Roth recently talked about the film starring award-winning actor Russell Crowe.

Russell Crowe "went wild" in The Man With The Iron Fists, producer Eli Roth has revealed. The Robin Hood star plays a character called Jacknife in the martial arts film, directed, co-produced and co-written by Wu-Tang Clan's RZA. "The whole movie wasn't on Crowe's shoulders, so he was free just to step in and go completely insane... he just went wild with it." (Belfast Telegraph)

RZA's upcoming flick will also reportedly star actresses Pam Grier and Lucy Liu.

Wu-Tang Clan member RZA has an obvious love for film . As an actor, he has appeared in "American Gangster," alongside Russell Crowe and has been cast in "G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes." RZA has also taken the next step in Hollywood with his silver screen directorial debut. He is yelling action for "The Man with the Iron Fists," a movie set in feudal China that will star Russell Crowe, Pam Grier and Lucy Liu. (The Silver Tongue)

Outside of blockbuster flicks, RZA recently landed a role on Showtime hit television series, "Californication."

The Showtime comedy has tapped Grammy winning hip-hop pioneer, Wu-Tang Clan leader and occasional actor Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (a.k.a. The RZA) to join the cast in a major recurring role. Diggs -- whose acting resume includes roles in Ghost Dog, Due Date and Repo Man -- will play a slightly dangerous hip-hop mogul who Hank (David Duchovny) considers writing a movie for. The tentative name of Diggs' character is Apocalypse. (TV Line)

A projected movie release date has not yet been announced.
