With talks of a movie centered around the origins of  The Dipset being in the works, Jim Jones recently talked to SOHH about his dream to begin a film career.

While Jones admits he is still an acting rookie, Capo dreams of working alongside Hollywood greats like Mark Wahlberg.

"I'm still an aspiring actor," Jones told SOHH. "I've been trying out for different movie roles and sh*t like that, you know, pretty soon you'll see me on the big screen. An actor I'd want to work with is Mark Wahlberg. He's one of my favorites. Will Smith's one of my favorites too. Director, I'd want to work with Steven Spielberg. I'm going to the top. I need a Spielberg flick. I don't know what all them other dudes is doing." (SOHH)

Last week, Jim Jones unveiled the Dipset movie plans.

"We actually working on the Diplomat movie -- I don't think I was supposed to say that," Jones said in an interview. "Our success and road to success has been filled with a lot of ups and downs. It's kind of like an action flick if you Google us and read all the news clippings and everything that's been going on while we been on TV. It should be a good movie." (XXL Mag)

Dipset's Juelz Santana also gave a few details about the flick.

"It's gon' be [about] the break up and us gettin' back together leadin' into the album," Juelz explained in an interview. "The album is gonna be like the soundtrack to the movie. It's just gonna be everything from [Cam'ron] meeting Biggie to him meeting me and us becoming The Diplomats...It's gonna be a movie like the way they did Notorious -- But we're just gonna be playin' ourselves. That might be the first [movie] where we get to play ourselves instead of [being portrayed by actors]. We'll [play the younger versions of ourself as well], but [...] we'll cut the hair off our face so we look younger and sh*t like that." (XXL Mag)

Last December, Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj talked about wanting to star in a Tim Burton film.

"I'd like to play someone in a Tim Burton movie, where I get dressed up and painted and crazy," Minaj reveals within her cover feature interview. "Then I want to be able to do some action stuff, like Angelina Jolie...And then I'd like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world. Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in Jason's Lyric." (KING)
