[In light of this week's July 4th celebration, SOHH is celebrating independence by featuring a entertainment personality naming an indie rapper they feel is the most underrated. After producer Vice Souletric Beats named Phonte earlier this week, $hamrock names Lil Wyte SOHH Underrated.]

Lil Wyte (SOHH Underrated)

As far as underrated rappers, I'm definitely bias because I'm from the South and I just know so many cats that embody that true hip-hop spirit and don't get the shine whether it's because of where they are from or whatever other reason.

I think Lil Wyte is SOHH Underrated. The only thing is, he is known and he is famous. I almost feel like I should pick somebody else because he's big and I don't feel like he doesn't not get shine at all. Even still, I feel like he's one of the best out there. Especially when you're talking about white rappers, I don't feel think he gets his shine like the same way Paul Wall, Eminem or Bubba Sparxxx does. That's why I have to [place him in that category].

But I also want to say that my boy Bo Hagon from Georgia doesn't get that much shine. It's really a tie between Lil Wyte and Bo Hagon. He's really good when it comes to lyrics. Bo Hagon is known for being with Lil Jon. I like him because he's an incredible lyricist when he raps. He had some hits and he's just one of the greatest to never have gone gone or platinum.

$hamrock is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia known for winning "The (White) Rapper Show" in 2007 on VH1. The rapper outlasted his competition and won $100,000 from the show. Following the success, Sham has continued to work on his music career and recently released his debut album, The Wyte Rapper Show.
