SOHH Whatcha Think: How Come Uncle Luke Is Dissing Wiz Khalifa But Not Jay-Z, 50 Cent Or Andre 3000? [Click Here & Speak]

And the survey says? WRONG! For the hundreds of thousand hip-hop readers instantly co-signing Uncle Luke's bashful remarks about love birds Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose, I beg you to take a sip out of some Formula 50 (if you can still find it) while loosening up the collar of your Rocawear button up. There are some discrepancies in Uncle Luke's argument.

I will not lie. As soon as I read Uncle Luke's blog posting about how Wiz Khalifa has softened up as of late and turned his mind, body and soul over to a "stripper" in the form of Amber Rose, I let out a few chuckles and quietly thought, "Yup, you have a point, Lukey, Luke." But after those initial sparked reactions died down, I started to really think about it, especially after reading what Luke said about Jay-Z and Beyonce.
"We rappers have always prided ourselves on not dating someone else's ex-girlfriends or ex-wives. This will come as a shock to some people, but if we have a relationship, it's with just one woman. Look at Jay-Z. He's been committed to Beyoncé for some time. Will Smith, Run-D.M.C., Ice Cube, Ice-T, and I are other examples of loyal, dedicated husbands in hip-hop. Wiz Khalifa, like some members of his generation, has gotten soft. They are losing their focus. They can't spot a triflin' woman in the room to save their lives." (Miami New Times)
Wait, huh? Have I missed something? "We rappers have always prided ourselves on not dating someone else's ex-girlfriends or ex-wives?" Pwease, Luke. Are you kidding me? It was this particular argument and his decision to practically put the spotlight on Wiz/Amber which motivated me to remind readers not to jump to conclusions like Luke so easily. If you think back, you may remember a few baby mother/girlfriend situations which cannnot go unnoticed.
According to Jay-Z, Carmen let him nut on Destiny's (Nas and Carmen's daughter) car seat. Also Jay-Z has said Allen Iverson was digging her as well. Carmen looks to be doing a Superhead by promiscuously spilling info to promote herself and book.
"G-Unit books. It's not a [coincidence]," Tia said regarding the company overseeing her tell-all release. "I'm affiliated with G-Unit now, officially. I am G-Unit. I'm waiting on my piece too, 50. [laugh] Yes I am [serious]...I'm a great mother, I'm hoping this book with be successful so that I can give my kids a good life, a better life than I had...[Ross] is not a real n*gga, he has no street credit at all. None whatsoever...I don't know where all of the [swag] came from, the fake shades. I think that's who he's trying to be now, Biggie. Did you see him in that new video? He put two earrings in his ear, do some research, he never put earrings in anything he did. He just got earrings about a month ago...[With the beard] he's trying to be Freeway Ricky Ross." (Radio Planet TV)
Erykah Badu has three children. Her eldest child is a son named Seven Sirius, born in 1997, with ex-partner André 3000 of OutKast. From 2000 to 2002, she dated rapper Common. On July 5, 2004, Badu gave birth to a daughter, Puma Sabti, in her Dallas home; Puma's father is West Coast rapper The D.O.C., who is originally from Dallas, Texas. On February 1, 2009, Badu gave birth to her third child at home, a girl named Mars Merkaba, with her boyfriend of five years, rapper Jay Electronica. In attendance were her two children, Puma and Seven. (Wikipedia)
I could keep this going, folks, but the bottom line is Luke is not saying anything groundbreaking. Better yet, before giving Jay-Z gold medals, it seems like a lot of the artists he may respect have broken the rules of "the rap game" as well. So look who's talking, now..
