[In celebration of a summer filled with flicks like Thor, X-Men: First Class, Green Lantern and Captain America, SOHH skimmed some of your favorite rappers' lyrics to compile a list of superhero lines you probably missed!]

1. Jay-Z - "Kingdom Come"

Jay-Z & Superman

"I been up in the office you might know him as Clark/But, just when you thought the whole world fell apart/I - take off the blazer, loosen up the tie/Step inside the booth, Superman is alive

Jay-Z's ode to Clark Kent in 2006 fit perfectly. The movie Superman Returns. Jay-Z's Kingdom Come. Jay-Z, much like Superman and Metropolis, had to save hip-hop since Nas said it was dead back then.

2. Wu-Tang Clan- "Triumph"  (Method Man's Verse)

Method Man & Ghost Rider

"Play my position in the game of life, standin' firm/on foreign land, jump the gun out the fryin' pan, into the fire/Transform into the Ghost Rider, a six-pack/and A Streetcar Named Desire, who got my back?"

Not only did Meth pay homage to the Marvel comics character on wax, he became the hip-hop embodiment of Johnny Blaze. Vrooom, vroooom!

3. Ghostface Killah - "Slept On Tony"

Ghostface Killah & Iron Man

"Yo, when they kidnapped your boy, and forced me to do evil/I created an iron suit, to protect my people/Escaped, bound to be Iron Man the great/The billionaire Tony Starks'll renew your fate..."

Uhhh.....Ghostface's first album is called Iron Man. Need we say more?

4. Lupe Fiasco - "Theme Music To A Drive-By

Lupe Fiasco, Batman & The Joker

"That was the Waynes that I drove when I was a little bit older/mayne declaring war on the deck like they the Joker/ all while they duckin from Bruce Wayne while they poker with the devil"

Even though Lupe Fiasco put up a battle fighting "The Cool", he must have taken notes from Bruce Wayne in this ode to Batman and his arch nemesis, The Joker.

5. Linkin Park feat. Pharoah Monche- "High Voltage (Remix)"

Pharoahe Monch & Cyclops

"When I spy my third eye/it's extremely high voltage/That's why I need ruby quartz glasses/cause when I glance at the chest/Then I might blast the masses..."

Pharoah Monche may possess the mental wittiness of Professor X and a fearless, gritty flow like Wolverine but when it comes to what X-Men character he is repping? Cyclops gets the props.
