SOHH Whatcha Think: Is Sean Price An Idiot For Dissing All Female Rappers? [Click Here & Speak]

Before we even dig into this topic, let it be known Sean Price is an incredibly underrated emcee. No matter his personal opinion on anything, this post should not take away from his own skills as a lyrical beast. With that said, who in the h*ll does Sean Price think he is!?
Just kidding. No Perez Hilton rants over here. But Sean Price's all-of-a-sudden announcement claiming he needs only two fingers to name female rappers he respects and even has any interest in is amazing to say the least. Nicki Minaj. You mad? Foxy Brown. You mad? Jean Grae. You mad? Well, uh, you should be...right?
"I don't like no female rappers," Price revealed in an interview. "Not one. Not one. [Lauryn Hill?] I did [like her], but she sings all the time so I wouldn't call her a rapper. Yeah. [Lil Kim?] I like no female rappers. Not like I don't like them personally, they don't hold my interest. Except MC Lyte. I haven't bought a female album, a female rap album, since MC Lyte, [1988's] Lyte as a Rock. I haven't bought one since. Straight up. I like none of them. I like none of them, sir. I only like MC Lyte's albums. Let me take that back. Rah Digga. She gets busy too. And my wife is a big Rah Digga fan too. But other than that? None of them. I'm not buying none of they albums. All of them. That's just me." (Vlad TV)
Now let's not forget, this is also the same rapper who told Kid Cudi fans to kill themselves and later apologized. So an apology down the road does not seem too out of the norm. Or does it, Kimbo Price?
"Ok yall named a few females but guess what they lp's sucked they had a few songs but they can't hold down a lp except @therealrahdigga"
"ALL OF THESE B*TCHES CORNY I SAID XCEPT @therealrahdigga MC LYTE AND SYDNEY MS HILL IS NICE BUT SHE DONT RHYME SHE SING THAT IS ALL"
"MALE OR FEMALE IF U DONT WRITE YA OWN SH*T U AINT A MC SO EXCLUDE YA SELF"
"LOT OF NIGGAZ FEEL HOW I FEEL PAUSE I WAS JUST DUMB ENOUGH TO SAY IT" (Sean Price's Twitter)
Maybe an apology is not going to happen. Regardless, Sean has brought up an excellent point. Most fellas may feel like him but he was "dumb" enough to say it. Publicly, might I add. Although when you look at the mass majority of female rappers, there have been handfuls who have put out quality albums including Missy Elliott, Eve, Lil Kim, Queen Latfiah, Foxy Brown, Da Brat, etc.
But the question is really more vague than we think. What has been said has been said but should we be more upset at "what" was said or "how" it was said? One thing I have always stressed is the brute honesty, most times, rappers can have, on and off camera. Is Sean Price really an idiot for, sadly, dissing all women or truly a Boot Camp Clik soldier ready to keep his thoughts uncensored marching into a female-wide war zone?
