[SOHH features a new entertainment personality each week to speak on who they feel is the most underrated artist. After Kool G Rap gave himself the title last week, West Coast rapper Kafani names Yukmouth SOHH Underrated.]

For SOHH Underrated, on the West Coast, I think the most underrated artist would have to be my boy Yukmouth.
I think Yuk's got lyrics and goes crazy. I would have thought after the moves he did that he would have went super big on a national level. So as far as lyrics and being on the West Coast, to me being from the Bay area, I would have to say one of the most underrated artists is Yukmouth. I've always loved his music.
I've been a fan of his [since I was] a kid. I've been a fan ever since "I've Got 5 On It" came out. I was a fan of his work and when I became an artist, I reached out and tried to do records with him.
Along with fellow MC Kashmere, Oakland-based rapper Kafani records as Babyface Assassins, and the two broke out of their region as featured guests on "Everybody Know My Name," a Keak da Sneak single that was selected for inclusion on the early-2007 compilation Hyphy Hitz. Keak returned the favor on "Fast (Like a Nascar)," the first single released from Kafani's solo debut, Money's My Motivation, released later in the year.
