Young Money's Nicki Minaj has discussed her guest feature limitations and said she is more willing to consider possible collaborations despite recently announcing a two-year break.
Being interviewed by fellow Young Money artist Drake, Minaj said she is still picky when it comes to collaborations.
"Well, you know, Drizzy, I have been keeping everything sort of stored inside of me," Nicki said. "So I'm just in complete tour mode. Yeah, I've been getting a lot of requests to do some features, but if I can't give myself wholeheartedly, I always pass. I definitely never want to be just doing too many features that they start getting watered-down and I'm not giving my whole, true self." (MTV)
Earlier this year, Minaj revealed her intent to stop doing collaborations for two years.
"I'm done with the collabs," Minaj revealed in an interview. "No more collabs for the next two years. [Britney Spears?] Oh yeah. [smiles] Britney's a snatch like me and she's cute. Yes. We might could do something." (Hip Hollywood)
Last fall, Minaj described her dream to one day collaborate with Beyonce.
"Probably just Beyoncé right now," revealed Minaj when asked about who she wants to collaborate with. "I've worked with just about all my dream collabs, like I've worked with Jay-Z and I've worked with Kanye and I worked with Rihanna and I've worked with Eminem. Those were at the top of my list. Now that I've done that, probably the only one on my list that I haven't worked with that I'm really, really excited about is Beyoncé." (Us Magazine)
Outside of studio dreams, the Young Money star has been shaking her money maker on the current "I Am Still Music II" nationwide tour.
Raptress Nicki Minaj continues giving lap dances in every city of the "I Am Still Music II" tour. When stopping by Dallas, Texas for a show last Friday night, April 15, the "Moment 4 Life" singer showed her appreciation to two soldiers for their service to the country by treating them to the sexy dance.
