G-Unit rapper Lloyd Banks has remained true to his word of getting in the studio with recently released Mobb Deep member Prodigy by publicly revealing a public session.

Early Saturday (March 12) morning, Banks tweeted a picture alongside Capital P.

"@PRODIGYMOBBDEEP got some fire!!and he's on cold corner 2," Banks tweeted.

This week, Banks revealed his intent to secure some studio time with Prodigy.

The self-proclaimed Punch Line King announced a special track he has in mind for his former G-Unit teammate Prodigy. "I haven't spoken to him yet," Banks said. "We gonna get something done." Banks added that he has, however, been in contact with the gruff-voiced rapper's longtime producer and comrade the Alchemist and promised that the pair will work together. He mentioned that he already has a record in mind for the collaboration, which would include another artist. "I had the crazy record, [but] I'm not gonna say the other feature, but hopefully I get a good one," he teased. (MTV)

Once P was released from jail earlier this week, 50 Cent publicly welcomed home the rapper.

"my man Prodigy is free! check out his first pic #WelcomeBackP @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP http://twitpic.com/476ke9," 50 tweetedMonday (March 7). (50 Cent's Twitter)

P's release from a three-year weapons conviction sentence became public record Monday morning.

According to the NYS Department of Correctional Services, prisoner 08A1481 better known as Prodigy, was released from Mid-State Correctional Facility this morning after serving a three year sentence on weapons charges. Welcome back, dun." (Rap Radar)
