In celebration of Eddie Griffin's new You Can Tell 'Em I Said It release this week, SOHH got the renowned stand-up comedian to analyze some of hip-hop's most talked about video vixen including Amber Rose, Nicki Minaj and Kim Kardashian.
While co-signing Rose and Minaj, Griffin pointed out Kardashian's infamous 2007 retail sex tape featuring R&B singer Ray J for fueling her career.
"Amber Rose, man, the girl's got it going on and I like what she's bringing to the public," Griffin told SOHH. "She's bringing something new. Nicki Minaj, man, that girl's got style, she's got flavor and man, it's like a female George Clinton. Man, she keeps it classy at the same time, that's what I like about her. She don't hooch herself out. Kim [Kardashian] is famous for f*cking somebody famous. So what are you talking about? [laughs] And did you see when Prince [recently] threw her a** off-stage at Madison Square Garden? That sh*t was funnier than a motherf*cker. That little n*gga said, 'B*tch, you ain't gonna dance? Bye!'" (SOHH)
Rose made headlines a few weeks ago after nude self-posed photos leaked online.
Kanye West's curvy former girlfriend Amber Rose is in the center of a naked photo scandal as explicit pictures leak online purportedly showing her both topless and completely nude. The racy photos -- posted by the adult website worldstarhiphop.com on Tuesday -- show several photos of a woman with her breasts exposed through her clothes; other images show her completely naked. Minaj is also making headlines, with her clothes on, as Pink Friday continues to sell units.
Young Money star Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday fell from Top 5 moving down five positions to No. 9 with 45,900. After 13 weeks on the chart, the self-proclaimed Barbie's debut has sold 1,127,200 records. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
Around 2007, Kardashian turned heads after a sex tape hit select retail stores.
Vivid Entertainment, the world's leading adult film studio, says it has paid $1-million to acquire rights to a video tape featuring the sexual exploits of raven-haired Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian and her then boyfriend, hip hop star Ray J. The company said the DVD titled "Kim Kardashian Superstar" will be released on Wednesday, February 21st and will be in stores by the following Wednesday, February 28th. It will also be available online on February 28th at www.vivid.com or www.kimksuperstar.com and will include additional footage not on the DVD. Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said the company obtained the video from a third party but did not identify the person or entity. "We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say," says Mr. Hirsch. (Hip Hop Press)
