News: Kanye West Reveals His "New Beat Protege"

Grammy-winning producer/rapper Kanye West has proven his interest in working with teenage sensation Justin Bieber is authentic by posting a new in-studio photo with the Canadian singer.
Posting up a picture to his Twitter page, West also labeled Bieber his "new beat protege."
Late Tuesday night, West took to his Twitter account to post a photo of him and the Beebs -- whom he called "my new beat protégé" -- working together on a track. Bieber, new hair and all, is wearing sunglasses and a white denim jacket, and can be seen working on a MacBook, while West (also in sunglasses) is tapping away on a keyboard. There's no word on just what the dynamic duo were actually working on. Recently, Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, told fans that JB was working on new music, and that "He's been talking to Drake ... [he] and Kanye had a call today about a song they're trying to work on together; Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for the album." (MTV)
But it does not stop with West, Bieber has also shown off his rap connection after being photographed with Young Jeezy in Los Angeles a few days ago.
Vulture has previously pointed out how Young Jeezy -- whose next album, Thug Motivation 103, is in a state of perma-delay -- had his position of reigning gruff-but-charismatic-drug-dealer-rapper usurped by Rick Ross. What can Jeezy do to remedy the situation? Either drop 103 to universal critical and commercial acclaim -- or do a song with the possibly omnipotent Justin Bieber. Looks like he's going the latter route: In a grand coup for his career, Da Snowman was photographed in an L.A. studio with a pre-haircut JB over the weekend, presumably while working on a track. Okay, Jeezy's back, everyone; go about your business. (NY Mag)
According to Bieber's manager, West is interested in working on the singer's sophomore album.
Along with having a taste for the finer things in life, Kanye West apparently has contracted Bieber Fever. While the illness initially presented itself as a remix back in August, Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun confirmed during a recent audio chat that the Louis Vuitton Don now wants to produce and collaborate on even more tracks with the wunderkind from Toronto. Braun did not share many specifics, but said that "[Bieber] and Kanye had a call... about a song they're trying to work on together. Kanye wants to produce a bunch of new songs for his new album." Last summer, West remixed Beiber's "Runaway Love" single, recruiting Raekwon to contribute a verse.
"Finishing @JustinBieber Runaway Love remix too... don't know when they gonna drop it but Raekwon's verse is crazy!!!," Ye last summer.
"I gotta testify... God has worked his magic 10 fold in my life since I dropped the ego and opened my heart." (Kanye West's Twitter)
