[As Valentine's Day approaches, this week SOHH will highlight artists so in love with the man in the mirror that they decided to speak on why they feel they are unappreciated. After Raekwon gave himself the title yesterday, Twista now crowns himself SOHH Underrated.]

Twista (SOHH Underrated: I Love Me)

Me. Me. Me. Me. I'm the most underrated artist in hip-hop. I'm a laid-back person, but if there's any way to get a rise out of me, [not considering me as underrated] is the one right there. That might even be the title of my next album. The Most Underrated. Seriously.

I mean, sh*t, look at my relevance. I put out a record in 1991 and here I am with a better record on the radio than most n*ggas out right now. I can rap fast. I got rhythm, cadence, I can come back at you with metaphors, I can change my style in about three or four ways, I spit on a record with anybody. Look at the people I've rapped with, from Diddy to Jay-Z. Look at all the features I've done. Look at how many times I changed my style up.

I think people forget the art of what rapping and emceeing is. Some of these n*ggas out here can't f*ck with me. So that's when it starts to get crazy to me, when I hear about who is underrated. You can't skip Twista when you see me constantly being relevant in the game since 1991.

Here it is, 2011, twenty years and I'm still making jams? How can my name not get brought up? So when you say "Greatest Of All Time," that doesn't disturb me, but when you say, "Most Underrated," that disturbs me. I feel like I'll be most relevant when the chart comes up showing artists with longevity. Like, who was able to keep banging them over their heads with jams? I think when you start looking at longevity, my name will come up.

Twista is a rap veteran with over 20 years of music to his name. Since 1991, Twista has released countless records and appeared on collaborations alongside Diddy, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Chris Brown and more. The rapid-fire lyricist once held The Guinness Book Of World Records title as the fastest rapper in the world.

Be sure to check back tomorrow to see if your favorite rapper crowns himself as SOHH Underrated.
