Estranged Fugee members Wyclef Jean and Pras have placed their past differences aside and ended their feud while on a trip to their native country, Haiti.
Writing on his Twitter page, Jean showed the reunion was genuine by posting a photograph of themselves.
"On my way 2 Haiti ran into Praz, what should I do make peace or go sit somewhere Else! I Made peace 4 Haiti!http://plixi.com/p/69304052," Jean tweeted Tuesday (January 11). (Wyclef Jean's Twitter)
Albeit more detailed, Pras also confirmed that the two mended their bond.
"Wow I just ran into wyclef on the plane crazy!!!! He said he doesn't know to elbow me or shoot me he opt to kiss me on the cheek.....," Pras tweeted Tuesday.
"Wyclef next to me on our way to Haiti.......http://plixi.com/p/69302889"
"If we both exchange 1 dollar, we both have a dollar each, but if we exchange 1 good thought, we both have 2 good thoughts!"
"Only haiti we have to switch planes now, plane leaking......Yo clef we should of flown privately... I'm sorry man for criticizing you for flying privately to haitihttp://plixi.com/p/69309901"
"Differences are not intended to separate, but precisely in order to realize our need of one another. Finale taking off see you in Haiti...... Having dinner with Prez Bill Clinton and Sean Penn in Haiti. Haiti future is looking incredibly bright....." (Pras' Twitter)
Last summer, Pras defended his decision to support then-Haiti presidential candidate Michel Martelly as opposed to Clef.
"Basically, I went down to Haiti yesterday to endorse a friend of mine named Michel Martelly. He's an ex-musician, very, very popular down in Haiti," Pras explained in an interview. "He used to go by the name 'Sweet Micky.' ... Listen, I love Wyclef to death. We came up together, we grew up together, we basically called each other cousins. But the reality is this, we need a real leader. Not just a regular leader, but a transformative leader. Someone that's gonna be able to galvanize the Haitians down on the field, the Haitian-Americans, the international community, it's a collective support -- to take this country to the 21st century. And I'm just not convinced Wyclef is the one for that." (MTV)
In September, Clef addressed allegations made against him by actor Sean Penn along with Pras' lack of support during his short-lived presidential candidacy run.
"If I was president....I got a message for Sean Penn, maybe he ain't see me in Haiti because he was too busy sniffing cocaine. I got a message for Praswell, even though you don't want to support me, I got love for you, even though you only kicked 8 bars for the Fugees..." (Miss Info TV)
