R&B chaunteuse Toni Braxton has alluded to a potential opportunity to feature on the cover of Playboy magazine.
Via her Twitter account, Braxton admitted leaning toward cashing in on the cover shot opportunity.
"Good morning everybody and happy 2011!!!! Whew we made it to see one more year! Let's make it a sexy year. :-*," she wrote Tuesday (January 4).
"New Year, New opportunities. So I have been considering taking up Playboy's offer to feature me on their cover this year. What you think?"
"I would love to pose with Hugh Hefner though. He's the sexiest guy I know over 30 ;-)"
"Of course it will be tastefully done :-) There are NOT talking that kind of spread! No Susie!!!! Just a lil T and A. They have asked me about 3 times before." (Toni Braxton's Twitter)
Last November, R&B singer Rihanna discussed her Playboy cover offer.
RiRi revealed to Angie Martinez that she's been offered to pose for Playboy several times, but turned the magazine down. "I got a few offers to do Playboy actually. They want to pay you to be naked on the cover," she said. "If I'm gonna take my clothes off, it has to be in a classy way and my will, not a check. I wouldn't take any money to do that." But she does enjoy walking around nude when she's in the privacy of her home. (Rap-Up)
In April 2010, Braxton's tax records leaked online.
R&B singer Toni Braxton is no one-hit wonder when it comes to tax liens. The IRS claims the "Un-Break My Heart" songbird and her husband owe more than $396,000 in delinquent federal taxes, according to a tax lien filed last month. The IRS filed a $396,330 lien against Braxton and husband Keirston Lewis on March 26 with Whitfield County (Ga.) Superior Court. According to the lien, they owe income taxes from 2007 and 2008. Despite the debt, the singer's latest solo album, Pulse, managed to debut in the Top 10 last May.
Leading the way this week is R&B veteran Toni Braxton's Pulse which debuted nine spots behind Godsmack's No. 1 album Oracle which sold 117,800 records. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Toni's latest album has sold 54,500 pieces after one week in stores. (SOHH Sales Wrap)
