Nicki Minaj has imagined what it would be like to have her Young Money labelmate Drake as the father of her children, and wondered how their kids would look and behave.
Speaking with radio personality Tim Westwood, Minaj dreamed up the possibility of procreating with her frequent collaborator.
"I think they'll definitely have my personality," Nicki explained. "My mother-in-law will be super beautiful, so that's good 'cause Drake's mom is freaking amazing. I love her. They'll have Drake's intelligence, they'll have his sarcastic wittiness that I love about him, they'll have his songwriting skills. I think we'll just make a real creative bunch of kids. Wait, did I just say that me and Drake will make kids? ... I think that would be like incest or something. Do you think they'd be more talented than Jaden and Willow [Smith], if me and Drake really did that?" (Tim Westwood TV)
Last summer, Drake and Minaj pranked their Twitter followers by announcing they'd jumped the broom.
"@nickiminaj Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use."
"Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine. :)" (Drake's Twitter)
Following the hype, Minaj spoke with radio host DJ Drama and playfully denied the marriage.
"No, Drama, don't be silly," Minaj told Drama when asked about expecting kids with Drake. "Drake is just my little brother and I kid with him all the time. That's all. Yes, yes, we were just being crazy and I think we were a little bit bored. I wouldn't say we were bored, but we were being just mischievous. I did another interview and they asked me and I said, everyday I see things written about me that aren't true. So I wanted to kinda give the blogs a little bit of payback and put my own story out. [laughs] I don't date boys, I don't like boys. [laughs] It's true -- I think boys are yucky and that's it. There's nothing more to say." (Rap Radar)
Despite the joke, Drake later said his mother believed they actually tied the knot.
"My mom was actually like, 'What happened? How did you elope?' " the rapper, 23, told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards Sunday. "But we were just joking around. I never thought it would get so out of hand...Ironically, I got a ring for myself, so people were like, 'Aw, you got married, and you have a ring you're wearing. People still think it's real. I'll look at a girl, and she'll be like, 'You're a married man. You shouldn't look at me that way.'" (PEOPLE)
