Reality star Kim Kardashian has addressed the media's spin on her dating habits and the speculation that she only dates Black men.
Speaking with media personality Wendy Williams, Kardashian discussed the public's perception of her dating preferences.
"I really think it's a stereotype. I've dated probably just the same amount of white guys...it's funny I can be with a white guy in the middle of the street making out with him and not one person will say anything or take a picture. I can be standing next to a black guy and all of a sudden, I'm dating him and I don't even know him." ("The Wendy Williams Show")
Earlier this month, one of Kim's sisters suggested she has been intimate with rap star Kanye West.
Kim Kardashian has opened up about her rumoured romance with Kanye West - insisting she is just 'having a lot of fun'. The 30-year-old has recently been spotted out with US rapper West, 33, but while she remained coy about their romance, her sister Khloe, 26, had a lot to say about it. Speaking at the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, Kim told US entertainment show Extra: "I think I've just been having a lot of fun." Khloe added: "That's because they're boning!" Kim replied: "That came out of Khloe's mouth, not mine!" (Music Rooms)
In 2007, sex tape footage of Kardashian and ex-lover/singer Ray J leaked online.
Vivid Entertainment, the world's leading adult film studio, says it has paid $1-million to acquire rights to a video tape featuring the sexual exploits of raven-haired Hollywood socialite Kim Kardashian and her then boyfriend, hip hop star Ray J. The company said the DVD titled "Kim Kardashian Superstar" will be released on Wednesday, February 21st and will be in stores by the following Wednesday, February 28th. It will also be available online on February 28th at www.vivid.com or www.kimksuperstar.com and will include additional footage not on the DVD. Vivid Co-Chairman Steven Hirsch said the company obtained the video from a third party but did not identify the person or entity. "We are comfortable that we have the legal right to distribute this video, despite what others may say," says Mr. Hirsch. (Hip Hop Press)
Outside of romance, Kardashian recently discussed her past decision to appear in Playboy.
"It was an independence thing for me. I was always by the book, such the straight arrow when it came to pleasing my parents and being a good daughter. I felt like this was one decision that only I could make. And I think it looks great. I'll have those pictures forever." (Glamour)
