[As model Amber Rose's buzz continues to grow, Kimora Lee Simmons points out to the reasons why immediate comparisons between the two women should be second guessed.]
How do we get from my name to Amber Rose? I don't see that. How do you get that at all? She's gorgeous. I'll say that part. She's got a big a**. Mine doesn't look like that. She's bald headed and white. So what do you have left if you don't have the business [connection]? That's all I have. What else is there left?
No disrespect to Amber Rose. She's a friend of Russell's and mine but I was married, three children, two of them with my ex. I have been friends with Russell for probably 20 years now, and she's known Kanye West for how many years? I don't know. And when did she meet him? And what was she doing before she met him?
No. But I love her and I will take the similarities, because don't you go starting no beef. But if you're gonna start something, you better make sure you say Kimora loves her. I think she's a bad b*tch. But no, I am older than her, I am grown. I have kids, I was married. When I got a divorce, I did exactly what I wanted to do, again, which was to be married and have a family. And that's what I have.
With Russell, I have a gorgeous family and it's something I still [maintain]. She doesn't have kids which is obvious, looking at that gorgeous body. But I have kids, businesses I started up with Russell, and so I think it's a little bit different. I could be her auntie. And then again, Russell is not an artist [like Kanye], he's more of a rap mogul and so I would say if there is any affiliation, I can speak about my life personally, I can't speak about Amber. For me, I kind of grew up with Russell. I met Russell when I was very young. Not like now, he dates girls who are very young but he's a lot older. I was young, he was young too.
We had grown together, we were married, we had children, we had a family and many businesses that we created together. So personally speaking, I have learned a lot from Russell as far as him being a mentor and being the man he is. He has taught me a lot and helped me so much with everything that I ever have done and that I will ever do in the future. He's a great friend and a great mentor.
