Songwriter/rapper T.I.'s wife, Tiny, has shared her reaction to her husband beginning an 11-month sentence in Arkansas for violating his probation last month.
Tiny expressed her sorrow over T.I. leaving her for his bid yesterday via Twitter.
"Thank u guys 4 all ur prayers & nice msgs! They had me smiling:) Tlk later! Love yall..Gn!," she tweeted Monday (November 1).
"Very somber day 4me..on da plane headed bck! I'm bout 2take a nap! Tlk soon cause u guys always seem 2mk me feel alil better..God Bless!" (Tiny's Twitter)
Tiny was also arraigned yesterday for her involvement in T.I.'s crime.
Not guilty is the plea from T.I.'s wife, Tameka 'Tiny' Cottle, to a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance, reports RadarOnline.com. Cottle, who was charged by the Los Angeles District Attorney on Friday, did not appear at the Beverly Hills courthouse on Monday but entered the plea through her attorney. The husband and wife were arrested in September in Los Angeles on a traffic stop when authorities allegedly smelled marijuana. Police also found pills in their car, which was later determined to be ecstasy. (Singersroom)
Tiny received a misdemeanor charge last week.
Prosecutors charged Tameka "Tiny" Cottle with possession of ecstasy on Friday and she is due in court for an arraignment on Nov. 1 in Beverly Hills. The 35-year-old was arrested along with her husband on Sept. 1 during a traffic stop. Prosecutors on Monday declined to charge T.I., citing a federal judge's decision to send him to federal prison for 11 months for violating his probation on weapons charges and the small amount of drugs found on him. A charge evaluation sheet said deputies found four ecstasy pills on the Grammy Award winner. (Washington Post)
Details on T.I. turning himself in landed on the Internet yesterday.
T.I. has officially begun his 11-month stint in an Arkansas prison -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ the rapper checked in "sometime this afternoon." A spokesperson for the prison tells us T.I. will go through the normal process -- which means he'll be processed, pose for a prison photo, and will be given a bunk assignment. As for the shower issue -- we're told T.I.'s prison has a community shower situation. We're told T.I. will have access to a television room for general viewing. T.I. will be issued a standard prison uniform -- khaki trousers, khaki button down shirt and black shoes. Inmates at the prison can make phone calls -- but they're limited to 300 minutes per month.
