The Neptunes' Pharrell Williams has shared his thoughts on Pusha T rubbing elbows with Kanye West since officially being branded to G.O.O.D. Music over the summer.

Asked about his views of Pusha T and Malice's progression in hip-hop, Pharrell said he was nothing less than proud of the duo he ushered into the game circa 2002.

"I love it! They've been on their own for about three or four years now. And I think they've done a good job. In terms of their choices, they really stuck to their core in the face of like the wintertime and everybody else feeling like they got to go pop. You know, [Pusha] really stuck to his guns and I feel like the marriage of him and Kanye, I feel like that's going to be incredible." (XXL Mag)

Pusha cleared up the speculation surrounding his G.O.O.D Music deal in mid-September.

"I'm definitely signed with G.O.O.D. Music. I'm definitely doing my solo project through G.O.O.D. Music," the Virginia MC confirmed to MTV News' Sway. "The Clipse is definitely coming with a new Clipse project. We're definitely coming with the Re-Up Game project. The family is still here, man. It's just all about G.O.O.D. Music, straight up." (MTV)

Prior to the September announcement, Pharrell said Pusha heading to G.O.O.D. Music would be a great look.

"I think that's gonna be amazing," Pharrell said. "[Pusha] had been working with 'Ye. I told him, 'You should do that.' We made a lot of great records together, and we'll continue to make great records. I want him to grow and get other experiences out in the world. He's gotta figure that out. He's gotta go out there and see it. Make no mistake, lyrically, that kid is one of the greats -- him and his brother. Lyrically, those guys are really serious. They're well-respected by all of the good dudes. Jay-Z loves them, T.I., Jeezy loves them. All of your favorite rappers, they appreciate a Pusha line or a Malice line. They do. I'm saying with respect for all those artists -- I work with those artists. I know the conversations we had. They like what they do. It's been a long time coming for Pusha and what it is he's trying to do. He's gonna get it. And Malice too." (MTV)

G.O.O.D. Music affiliate GLC recently clarified speculation on whether or not the company was a record label.

"G.O.O.D Music isn't a label for one; a lot of people have the misconception that G.O.O.D Music is a label but really it's basically a family and like a production company. What they do is you get a distribution deal and if you're a G.O.O.D Music artist, then you come out on G.O.O.D Music and the distribution deal. Whoever I decide to do my deal with it will be through G.O.O.D Music because I'm a G.O.O.D Music artist." (Hip Hop DX)
