West Coast rapper Game has promised hip-hop fans that despite past smash hits like "Hate It Or Love It" and "My Life," he has now written the best record of his career.
While not getting into full detail, Game explained his revelation on Twitter.
"I just wrote the BEST SONG of my career & I owe 2 ALL OF YOU !!! You will understand when you hear it. #time2celebrate," Game wrote Saturday (November 6) night.
"It's called L.O.V.E. = "Let Our Violence End" produced by TIMBALAND" (Game's Twitter)
Game is currently keeping fans waiting for his delayed R.E.D. Album.
"I think I should stop saying when the album is gonna be released and just say 'when it's released, just pick it up,' man. And I think that no matter how long people wait, we're not gonna get into aDetox situation and wait over 10 years for that...August 24th was real realistic to me until I started touring. Before I get really locked into it, when I get home on the 8th [of August] man...you know, it might still be the 24th once I talk to [Interscope CEO] Jimmy Iovine. He's overseas and he gets back when I get back so I'ma sit down with him and have a meeting and we'll play everything I got. I think I'm missing my huge single like "My Life," or "Hate It or Love It," or "One Blood." And I think I really need to find that...Like I'm looking for a cross between "One Blood" and "Hate It or Love It." And I think that it wouldn't be successful or right for me if I put my album out before that." (Complex)
Game previously announced pushing his album back to August via Twitter.
"I pushed my album back so it would land on Kobe's #'s .... 8 & 24 n it's year 10' n that was his Olympic #. R.E.D. In stores 8-24-10 ! #KOBE." (Game's Twitter)
It had also been delayed back from an early July release date.
The R.E.D. Album was originally due in stores on June 15th, but that date was changed to June 29th. The next release date given for the rapper's fourth studio album was listed as July 6th, but that date has been pushed back as well. While an exact release date has yet-to-be confirmed, the album should land in stores this Summer. According to sources close to Game, he canceled a series of listening sessions slated to take place this week, so that he could focus on recording new material for the R.E.D. Album. (All Hip Hop)
