G-Unit leader 50 Cent has come forward to address speculation that he made an anti-gay statement on Twitter this week.

Writing to his three million followers, 50 said he has nothing against a person's sexual orientation.

"The other night I made a joke about a blow job. My male followers enjoyed it. So I then went on to joke about women receiving the same.," 50 tweeted Friday (October 1).
Some how they turned a simple joke about oral sex into a anti gay statement. I have nothing against people who choose and alternative life"
"Style in fact iv publicly stated my mom loved women. It funny how people think negative statements are news worthy but positive statements" (50 Cent's Twitter)

50's original tweet stirred controversy among bloggers this week.

50 Cent, also known as Curtis James Jackson III, has taken his homophobic opinions, usually found on stage and screen, to cyberspace again in a recent tweet. The rapper, actor and Vitamin Water spokesman wrote: "If you a man and your over 25 and you don't eat pu**y just kill your self damn it. The world will be a better place. Lol." 50 Cent tweeted the anti-gay remark from his Blackberry using ƜberTwitter on Wednesday 9/29/2010 to his 3.3 million followers. (Fenuxe)

Recently, 50 has used Twitter to make other controversial jokes.

Jackson is no stranger to using Twitter to broadcast homophobic ideas. Earlier this month, he tweeted "Perez Hilton called me douchebag, so I had my homie shoot up a gay wedding. wasnt his, but made me feel better." Stay classy, 50! (Just Out)

After publicly taunting pop star Lady Gaga and Kanye West's cancelled 2009 road trip by calling it the "gay tour" last year, 50 later released a statement retracting his remarks.

"During an interview with Angie Martinez yesterday, certain comments I made were taken entirely out of context. When I referred to the Lady Gaga tour as the "gay tour" I was basically repeating what I thought she had referred to the tour in the past. It was not my intention to offend anyone. I don't have a problem with anyone's lifestyle and have no issue with Lady Gaga, she makes great music." (Statement)
