G-Unit leader 50 Cent displayed his sensitivity on Twitter today by expressing the affection he has toward his son.
50 also posted a photo of his son, Marquise, when he was a baby.
"I just woke up thank god for today.I'm truly blessed. I'm getting ready to jump in the shower," 50 tweeted Thursday (September 16).
"This is my baby when he only had 4 teeth. I love him so much, I be missing him http://plixi.com/p/45425272"
"I just saw that picture of my son and now I'm crying for no reason I think I'm really losing my mind"
"I don't think people understand me.I work so hard to get were I'm at. Thats why I get so mad when people are up set with my success" (50 Cent's Twitter)
In June 2007, the rapper's baby's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, took him to court over child support payments.
Rapper 50 Cent's child support payments are no chump change. He doles out $25,000 a month in child support and household expenses to the mother of his 10-year-old son, Marquise Jackson. But the boy's mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, says that's not enough. The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, is "worth tens and tens of millions of dollars," said her attorney, Raoul Felder. Despite multiple court appearances, 50 had his child support payments reduced by a judge in February 2008.
Despite attempts to obtain a $50,000 per month child support order, Shaniqua Tomkins, who is the mother of 50 Cent's ten year old son, Marquis, will receive a less than $10,000 order from her rapper ex. Tomkins asked for $50,000 a month and was granted $25,000 a month while the court went through her and Marquis' expenses. A ruling was handed down earlier this week: Tomkins will now receive a paltry $6,700 a month in support from Fitty. The rapper's lawyer, Brett Kimmel, said, "My client and I are very happy with the ruling." (Hip Hop Pop Crunch)
A photo cropped image of 50's son reportedly popped up on a Rick Ross promotional website last year and continued a feud against his rap rival.
Fif said the "Psychic Told Me" video was his reaction to seeing a website (ThisIsCurly.com) allegedly connected to Rick Ross, which focused on attacking 50 and promoting Ross' upcoming album Deeper Than Rap. On the site, there is a very disrespectful photo-shopped image of 50's son, Marquise. According to 50, the site and photo has been up since Sunday (February 8). (Miss Info TV)
