News: Lil Kim Wants To Get Up Close & Personal With Rihanna, "I Just Love Her"

New York rapper Lil Kim has recently announced plans to collaborate with R&B star Rihanna.
Kim said she was nearly 100 percent positive that the duet will materialize.
The Queen Bee released her own remix to Rihanna's "Hard," but reveals that another pairing could be in the works. "I'm a huge Rihanna fan, and she's a friend of mine, so if I had to guess, I'm 90 percent sure that song is probably in the works," she told Australian website Lifelounge. But Kim, who's currently playing intimate shows in the U.S. and abroad, doesn't want people to judge the song before it happens. "I look at it this way: if it happens, it happens. And it should be a surprise. It shouldn't be something that people are anticipating, or have their own personal opinions on it before it even comes out. So I probably won't ever mention that again...I just love Rihanna, I think she's great." (Rap-Up)
Recent reports suggested she signed a deal with Jay-Z's Roc Nation in May.
Brooklyn's female rapper and actress Lil Kim has officially signed a record deal with Jay-Z label Roc Nation. This rumor has been floating around for a while, but earlier today, industry insiders confirmed this rumor. A major announcement should be made soon. As of press, no word on when Kim's new album will be dropping. The big homie Jay-Z is expected to be executive producing Kim's new album. Roc Nation is an entertainment, management, and music publishing company, founded in 2008 by Jay-Z. In 2009, Kanye West became the CEO. (Hip Hop Beef)
Last July, Kim spoke on putting together a new album.
"Album should be out in a few months," Kim said in an interview at the pre-BET Awards 09 show. "We don't have a set date yet but the song 'Download' is featuring T-Pain and Charlie Wilson is doing very well and I'm excited about that 'cause it's been a long time since I made my rounds. But I got another song that's with a producer named Detail, he's a Konvict Muzik producer and I love this song. I can't tell y'all the name yet 'cause it might be the next single but just know that this album, I'm feeling real sexy and nasty y'all, so it's gonna be an upgrade ofHardcore." (EZ Street Show)
She previously said the project was put on hold due to her participation on "Dancing With The Stars" last year.
"Never, music is in my heart and that's the reason I'm on 'Dancing With The Stars' because I've always felt music," Kim said about abandoning music. "Right after 'Dancing With The Stars' [new album is coming.] My schedule is so crazy with 'Dancing With The Stars.' We rehearse six to eight times, from eight hours a day, so it's like, I do have time on the weekends to go into the studio and when I do, I do a little bit. I have a song out right now with T-Pain...I'm about to do a mixtape with my people, it's gonna be called Lil Kim: Family & Friends...And I'm paying for the music videos." (The Q Deezy Show)
