My problems with Cash Money Records do not come from any situation where I was negligent or lacked knowledge or got "got," it's not that kind of situation. The situation was simply not being paid.

It's really about being smart. I can't take this situation and give out positive insight or energy off of it because it's somebody in control. That has nothing to do with the paperwork, my attorney, not knowing what the contract said, this and that, none of that. It's a simple matter of bad people and good people. It's as simple as that.

As far as advice to give out to young producers, I don't think people have a clear understanding of what's taking place in my situation. People always switch it around like, "What would you have did better?" like it was me who did something wrong this time. It's nothing that was wrong or out of place on my end. I do the same paperwork with all artists. I've worked with Beyonce, Mario to Ludacris. I have never had this issue before. And it's not just me, it's people who have been a part of or have done business with Cash Money.

It's just that I'm the only one that's saying anything about what's right and what's wrong. My career is so much bigger than this. But put yourself in a similar situation. It's like, if you were the business owner and you had employees that's working in company and their checks are supposed to come in two weeks. But when they get to the job, the boss wasn't there and their checks weren't there, and you can't find the boss, now you don't have no money. Legally, you did everything right and you're supposed to get paid. It's as simple as that.

There's no in-between the lines, no beating around the bush, it's as simple as that. They have money. If you and your boy were out making some money together but he was holding it all, then y'all got back to the spot and start counting, it's business. And that's all it is.

Bangladesh is a producer known for working with Ludacris, 8 Ball & MJG, Petey Pablo, Missy Elliot and more but is renowned for his Lil Wayne hit, "A Milli."
