Today marks the three-year anniversary of Bundles' passing.

On June 11, 2007 the hip-hop world lost one of its rising stars in Rayquon Elliott. Better known as Stack Bundles, the New York rapper was making his mark on the game when his dream of rap stardom was cut short at the young age of 24. On that fateful day, Stack was shot once in the head and once in the neck as he returned to his Beach Channel Drive home in Far Rockaway Queens. Stack rose to fame in 2005 thanks to his mixtape work with DJ Clue, which includes Rap Makeover Vol. 1 and Biddin' War, just to name a few. That eventually caught the attention of Jim Jones, who signed the rap rookie to his Byrd Gang crew in 2006. Also heading up his own team, The Riot Squad, what made Bundles an endearing figure was his passion for hip-hop and appreciation for his fans. (XXL Mag)
