Any comment you get you from the fans, you gotta take the good with the bad when it comes to success. Right now there's nobody as hot as Drake. Drake, Cash Money, Young Money, that's my family right there and I'm getting ready to close my new venture with them officially and publicly, I'm part of the family.
Personally, I'm very happy for Drake and with the success comes the attention that's so kinetic that you can't necessarily want to run away from it. Sh*t, I mean my man Usher's album, Confessions, leaked and that album still sold a million in his first-week. Same thing happened with Lil Wayne's album, Tha Carter III, it sold a million in its first-week. If they sh*t leaked, Drake's sh*t was gonna leak.
It comes with the territory. So you just gotta go with it and take the blows with the good and it's just a part of life man. The sh*t is so hot and people start to expect your sh*t, they're gonna find a way to get to it. So you just gotta take the good with the bad and appreciate the attention, appreciate the love and appreciate the need.
You gotta remember to appreciate the "need," that somebody really needs your sh*t. When you think about it, that's a beautiful thing. So it ain't nothing to smile about, you just gotta take the good with the bad and keep it moving and try to make the best out of it.
I'm gonna bet a mil. I'm gonna bet Drake sells a mil first-week. It's because I know the anticipation on Drake's sh*t is outta here, it's outta space. Because when you look at everything he's been on, he's done so much for other artists on their sh*t that people are just dying to hear his sh*t. I think he's gonna be all right, I'm gonna put a mill ticket on it.
