Grammy-winning rapper Eminem has been added to this month''s BET Awards performance line-up set to take place at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium.
According to reports, Em is one of four artists announced to perform today.
On June 27th, Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium will see one of the most exciting hip-hop line-ups take to the stage for the 10th annual BET Awards. Heavyweights such as Kanye West and T.I. will mark their comebacks, and now Eminem, Usher, Alicia Keys and T-Pain have been added to the performance roster. Reports by Rolling Stone indicate that DJ Khaled, T-Pain, Ludacris, and Rick Ross will unite for a performance of "All I Do Is Win" with a special guest. (Billboard)
Early speculation suggests Em may perform a "Forever" set.
With Eminem joining Drake and Kanye West on the BET Awards bill, the lineup is just a Lil Wayne shy of a potential performance of their joint hit "Forever." Eminem, Drake and Weezy performed the track, sans Kanye, at this year's Grammys, and unless Weezy phones in his verse live from Rikers, it's unlikely a repeat performance will happen. However, given the powerhouse lineup, the door is open for any number of collaborations: Drake and Alicia Keys' "Fireworks," or Ludacris and Nikki Minaj on "My Chick Bad." Insiders tell RS there's one big performance viewers can definitely expect to see: T-Pain, Ludacris, Rick Ross and a special guest all teaming with DJ Khaled on "All I Do is Win." (Rolling Stone)
T.I. will return to the BET Awards for the first time since infamously being arrested at the Hip-Hop Awards in 2007.
T.I. will make his official comeback as a performer taking the stage at BET's 2010 BET Awards. The "I'm Back" rapper joins the previously announced line up of performers including Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj and Diddy. (Singersroom)
Jay-Z and Beyonce lead this year's ceremony with the most nods.
Rapper Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce, will compete in three categories at the 2010 BET Awards. They're both nominated for video of the year, best collaboration and viewers' choice. Jay-Z received two nominations in the video of the year category, which includes newcomers B.o.B and Melanie Fiona. Jay-Z is the top contender with five nominations; he's also up for best male hip-hop artist. Beyonce, Fiona and Alicia Keys, who follow with four nods each, are all up for best R&B female artist. R&B crooner Trey Songz also received four nominations. (ABC News)
The annual BET ceremony is set to kick-off Sunday, June 27th from Los Angeles, California.
