Model Amber Rose recently spoke on her new found fame and her struggle to maintain her privacy from the paparazzi.
Rose also explained how a desire to be free with her body makes her a target.
"I'm very comfortable with my body, even in my home I'm always naked. I love being free - no hair and no clothes!," she revealed in an interview. "The thing that people don't understand when it comes to a relationship with a man or woman is that it's not about sex at all, even though that's the first thing that pops in your head. It's about the love and the vibe you get from the person, and I believe you can find that in anyone... Sometimes [the fame] does get overwhelming because, for example, I like to be on the beach with my man with no top on...I'm very comfortable with my body...But there's no privacy - that's the only thing that overwhelms me. Every time I see a light flash I think it's the paparazzi. Those f*ckers give me anxiety." (YRB Magazine)
Recently, rap star Drake talked about not liking paparazzi photos of himself.
"I always get caught in the worst, most unphotogenic poses ever," he said in an interview. "Now people follow me with camerasand are just clicking away and I always feel like I just look mad different in pictures. I hate seeing pictures of myself online when I'm leaving a spot or whatever; I just always get caught laughing 'cause I'm always outside making jokes or whatever with the people, but I always end up looking so stupid like that's the sh*t that I'm always like, "Man, I wish that didn't happen," you know? But as for people's opinions and sh*t like that, it's all good. That's what's going to happen. You know people are entitled to their opinion and it takes a certain type of individual to really come online and give their opinion of your music, positive or negative. I don't know if you do it, but I can't say I've ever gone online and posted underneath someone's song, and be like, 'Dope song, son.' Or, 'That sh*t is wack.' I've never done that before. It's just a certain community of people that really feel like that's their outlet and I know that me and my friends aren't any of them so I don't know who those people are and I can't really take their opinion too close to heart just because I'm not really sure what those people are made of and if their opinion's even valid so I just kind of keep it moving." When Rose's popularity began to grow in 2009, SOHH spoke with Ludacris about featuring the then-unknown model in his "Them Girls Like" music video.
"I think it's great," Luda told SOHH in regards to her rising popularity. "I always love seeing someone come from... just trying to see their dreams come true. There's nothing wrong with it for me. I'm glad to have had her in the video. I think she got signed to a modeling agency or something so I think she's extremely innovative to have that kind of confidence. I think it's a great thing because she sets herself apart from a lot of women just by her haircut. She wears it with the utmost confidence and that's a great thing. I think she deserves any modeling contract that she's gotten because she has her own unique look and a great sense of style." (SOHH)
Earlier this year, reports claimed that Rose had signed a confidentiality agreement with alleged boyfriend Kanye West.
Sources are saying that Kanye West has signed a multi-million dollar contract with ex-girlfriend Amber Rose to "silence" her from speaking about his personal life. She reportedly agreed to never reveal any details about the rapper in return for cash. An insider says, "It's pretty common to have 'silence' agreements amongst entertainers. I heard that Amber's getting seven figures to keep her lips closed." Hmm, we wonder why Kanye is shelling out so much to keep Amber's mouth closed. What does he have to hide?? (Perez Hilton)
