Rap veteran Q-Tip has confirmed recent reports that he will be working on Kanye West's upcoming Good A** Job album.

In addition to West, Tip said he is aiming to clock in studio time with other popular artists like Jay-Z.

"I just try to work with people who I admire or whom I think has got it," he revealed in an interview. "So right now I'm working on Nas' sh*t, about to work with Kanye on his sh*t. Just trying to keep up my momentum. I'm about to work with Talib [Kweli] on his project. I been trying to work with Hova for a while so hopefully he'll realize the heat I got and come with it [laughs]." (Brooklyn Bodega)

Reports that Ye got  production from Q-Tip and RZA began to circulate online last week.

Fuse TV's, Toure had a conversation with an individual who received a sneak peek at the rapper's new project and got wind of some DOPE information. According to Toure, RZA, Q-Tip and Pete Rock have all contributed to Yeezy's new effort. I sincerely hope this means no more auto-tune. Auto-Tune on a Pete Rock would make my stomach turn upside down. It's also been said that Pusha T from the Clipse and Drake have taken trips down to Hawaii (that's where he's creating the new album) to assist Ye with the new project. (BET's Sound Off)

Drake recently said the project would be one of the best hip-hop releases in years.

The Canadian rapper-singer revealed to GQ magazine that he has been in Hawaii laying down tracks for both his and Mr. West's albums. When asked how they divide time between the two projects, Drake joked, "More like we work on his album until he gets tired." Little is known about West's fifth studio effort, but the Young Money star offered his inside take. "His album is going to be one of the best hip-hop albums in the last 10 years," he declared. "I mean "Good a** Job" not Graduation. I was sleepy as h*ll when tweeted that sh*t! Happy Valentines Day! Everybody be safe... N Don't break my aching heart! Show me love back! I'm off to Hawaii...
