A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge praised R&B singer Chris Brown yesterday for fulfilling the terms of his probation which stems from his felony assault of ex-girlfriend/singer Rihanna.
According to reports, Brown has met all requirements included with his probabtion.
At a progress review Thursday, L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia M. Schnegg praised the singer, who personally appeared in court, saying, "Looks like you're doing really, really well [fulfilling your probation terms]. That's always good to see." The singer, so far, has completed 17 out of 52 group sessions for domestic violence and hasn't missed one. The judge added that Brown has so far completed 32 days of hard labor. (People)
Despite his progress, Brown is still required to check-in with Judge Schnegg.
Brown must make regular visits before Judge Schnegg to update her on the fulfillment of his punishment. In November, he also went before Schnegg and received an "extremely favorable" review. Brown has publicly and privately apologized on a number of occasions for attacking his former girlfriend on the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards. (MTV)
The singer was scheduled to appear in court yesterday afternoon.
Our sources say Judge Patricia Schnegg has been skeptical about the type of community service Brown has been performing in Virginia. She wants to make sure it's true hard labor. Brown and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, will go before Judge Schnegg at 2 PM PT today ... and we're told they're armed with a list showing Chris got plenty dirty performing his community service -- one of Chris' specialties ... cleaning brush off Virginia highways. Photos of Brown working outside in Virginia landed online last September.
Chris Brown has started his community service and RadarOnline.com has got the exclusive photos to prove it. The singer, dressed in an orange vest and red baseball cap, appears to be pulling weeds on a roadside. The R&B singer tweeted Wednesday morning 'on my way to community service...' (Radar Online)
