Rap veteran Talib Kweli has cleared up confusion caused by a false advertisement that said his producer, Hi-Tek, had joined him for a European tour.
Writing via Twitter, Kweli denied reports of Hi-Tek making the international run with him.
"To everyone in Europe, it is false advertising that Hi Tek is performing with me. I will still rock though. RevolutionsPerMinute April 6th," he wrote Tuesday (February 16). "Once again, Hi Tek is NOT in Europe. I have no idea why promoters would sell the shows like that. Hopefully yall still enjoy the show." (Talib Kweli's Twitter)
Tour dates for Kweli have been posted on his website.

Kweli and Hi-Tek are known to perform together when being billed for shows.
As Hi-Tek spun records, Talib rapped to the crowd. "New York City," he told the crowd. "Give it up first of all to the legendary Pete Rock from New York City in the place to be. Give it up to Supernatural in the place to be. Give it up to Slum Village in the place to be. Give it up to Slaughterhouse. And DJ Hi-Tek from Cincinnati, Ohio." Performing Black Star cuts and slowing things down for hits like "Never Been In Love Before" and "Get By," the rapper also performed a brief period of technical difficulties but made up for it through freestyling from the crowd which showed their appreciation by clapping even louder. Upon getting their equipment up-and-running, Styles P hit the stage performing "Gangsta, Gangsta" and "I Get High." Ending the show, Hi-Tek grabbed the microphone as they performed "Kweli" together." Last year, Kweli updated fans on the status of his upcoming Reflection Eternal 2 album.
"The Reflection Eternal project is a go, I've been spending a lot of time in [Cincinnati] at Hi-Tek's studio," Kweli told Kevin Nottingham in an interview last winter. "We are trying to have that out before the summer on Blacksmith/Warner Brothers. Hi-Tek got some heat, he still my favorite producer." (Kevin Nottingham Blog)
