Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon has displayed his admiration for renowned singer Sade by dedicating his rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Overjoyed" to her.

Speaking from a self-made recording, Rae puts in his own version of Wonder's "Overjoyed" classic.

"Yo, what's up y'all, this is Raekwon The Chef," he said in a video. "This is dedicated to my peoples, Sade. Yo I love you baby. Dedicated to you, let's go. Over time, I've building my castle of love/Just for two, though you never knew you were my reason, I've gone much too far for you now to say, That I've got to throw my castle away/Over dreams, I have picked out a perfect come true/Though you never knew it was of you I've been dreaming/The sandman has come from too far away/For you to say come back some other day..." Earlier in the week, Sade co-signed the rapper's recent Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Part II album.

"I love Alicia Keys," Sade said in an interview. "I like some of the tracks off Rihanna's new album. I like some more heavy rappers like Raekwon's album from the Wu-Tang Clan. I listen to just about anything that speaks to me." ("Tom Joyner Morning Show")

Raekwon also hit up his Twitter page to speak on Sade's co-sign.

"I heard the lovely sade gave me a shoutout on the radio yesterday, but i definitely want to hear so if someone got it can u send me the link," he wrote Tuesday (February 2). "@ ElliottWilson ayo elliot that why you my dude good lookin on gettin that sade thing to me thx alot This is for "SADE" YALL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Al-rMMxLfyY." (Raekwon's Twitter)

Producer Salaam Remi recently said Nas and Sade recorded a collaboration together in 2001.

"If you have a Nas and Sade record, everybody wants to hear it," Salaam said in an interview. "It's Sade's 'Lovers Rock' remix has Nas on it and that was going to be a single but they decided not to put it out. They put out the live album because the tour was where they were. It was done, that was 2001. And that was right when I was doing my first production with him, when I did 'What Goes Around' for Stillmatic, during those same sessions, we did it. It was done, mixed. They have it, maybe they'll throw it on the B-Side for the next single or something. Maybe." (Soul Culture)
