News: Kanye West Denies Airport Rant Rumors, "I Feel Bad People Believe This Kind Of Stuff"

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West has shot down recent reports that he threw a minor tantrum aboard an airplane flight earlier this week.
Writing through his blog, Ye spoke on his experiences riding on flights and why causing altercations is not a part of his profile.
"I feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact because 'it's on the internet.' This rumor is particularly ironic because I was actually happy with a business class seat and was offered a seat in first class. A friend of mine was sitting in coach so asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way. There's been many a time where I've given someone in coach my business or first class seat in order to sit next to a friend I bumped into. I really could care less about where I sit on the plane. It's hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I'm not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied on??? How does it make you feel??? You wanna tell everybody it's not true right? Thank you to all my fans who still love and support me even though it's not the trend right now! I'm sleeping in the studio and I won't let you guys down!" (Kanye West's Blog)
Reports of the alleged altercation landed online earlier this week.
Kanye West is a finicky flier. A source said the rapper threw a fit at LAX Monday night on his way back to New York from the Grammys after he and his assistant were seated in business class instead of first. "He wanted to be bumped up," says our witness. West and his aide were eventually moved to the better seats. A rep for Kanye -- who garnered widespread condemnation over his onstage outburst at last year's MTV awards as Taylor Swift accepted her award -- didn't get back to us. (New York Post)
Ye associate/rapper Common recently updated fans on the producer's well-being.
"He's doing really good, man," Common said in an interview. "Kanye is one of the good-hearted brothers in this game. I've seen him do so much for so many people. I can never fix my mouth to say anything negative about him. If I see him do something that I don't feel is right, that's something I'll take care of personally." (MTV)
Last month, the rapper also inked a blog posting focused on the public's critical outlook toward him.
"I'M BRIEFLY SADDENED BY NEGATIVE COMMENTS, BUT I HAVE TO REMEMBER THOSE PEOPLE ARE SCARED, INCAPABLE OR JUST PLAIN IDIOTS. WE ARE THE F*CKING ROCK STARSBABY. NO COCAINE, JUST LIFE MY N*GGAS!! WE LIVE IT MAN. F*CK THAT, WE LIVE IT!!! WE LIVE IT SO HARD PEOPLE LIVE THROUGH US! WE REPRESENT YOUR INNER SPIRIT!! IMAGINE THE PRESSURE OF BEING A TRUE ICON. VERY FEW HUMAN BEINGS ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE CONSTANT HATE!!! I CAN HEAR YOU SCREAMING 'COLOR INSIDE THE LINES!!!' WELL F*CK YOUR COLORING BOOK, COLOR BY NUMBERS APPROACH TO LIFE..."
