Ruff Ryders' Eve has had her tax issues leak online with reports claiming she owes over $357,000 to the government.
According to reports, the rapper's tax conflicts go back more than two years.
The 31 year-old singer, actress and one-time "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" contestant, recently starred in two episodes of the show "Glee." The state of California filed a $29,059 lien against her on Jan. 29, 2009, with the Los Angeles County Recorder of Deeds. The IRS filed a $29,439 lien on Jan. 12, 2009, in Los Angeles. "Non of that is true," she wrote Thursday (February 4) afternoon. "Please don't believe everything you read on the internet. it's negative and I don't f*ck wit negativity. People trynna Test me. She was accused of playing a role in the illegal transfer of funds earlier this month
Senate investigators spent three years tracking money flowing into the U.S. from the accounts of her on-and-off again boyfriend Teodorin Nguema Obiang. He is the playboy son of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea, the corrupt dictator whose three-decade reign has been marked by rumors -- believed to be falsely spread to incite fear -- of cannibalism. Investigators believe most, if not all, of the millions in cash came from corruption related to the massive oil and gas reserves off the coast of the tiny West African country. (ABC News)
Outside of legal woes, Eve recently talked about the status of Ruff Ryders.
"In L.A., [DMX] came and flew out and [Ruff Ryders CEO] Waah and it was the first time we got to hang out in year and half, just building and having fun," Eve said in an interview. "People have changed but the love never changes. It's like if you have a bunch of kids who go off to college...but when they come back together it is what it is. I could never do a record without Swizz. That's like against the religion." (All Hip Hop)
