New York rapper DJ Webstar has declared himself the best younger emcee in the rap game.
Writing through Twitter, the "Dancin' On Me" hitmaker assured fans of his rap prominence.
"You can tell who you want and you can feel how you feel aint no young n*gga in the game f*ckin wit me! NOBODY," Web wrote early Tuesday (February 16) morning. "And this aint music money either!!and It aint to many young n*ggas around so yall figure it out!! I'm not fronting its facts no young n*gga got more money than me! We can talk about it when they ready imma show yall some sh#t ! I'm normally very humble but somebody made me mad! So f*ck it imma get back on my sh*t. I'm about to start naming names!!! Stay tuned!!!" (DJ Webstar's Twitter)
Rapper Hurricane Chris recently spoke with SOHH about being the most dominant in hip-hop.
"Hand for hand, foot for foot, when it comes to rapping, you put somebody in my face and whatever category you give us, whatever you tell us to flow about, you tell us to talk about each other, I'm gonna destroy 'em," Chris promised SOHH. "I'll destroy whoever you put in front of me. Your talent shines until it gets in the presence of mine. Understand that? You see a star in the sky and it looks real bright until you go out the next day and there's a bigger star next to that star -- D-Bo, D-Bo, D-Bo. I'm the D-Bo of the rap game. I'm the D-Bo of it, watch what I tell you." (SOHH)
From Chris' perspective, his freestyle skills place him ahead of the competition.
"I'm the best rapper alive, put a mic in front of me and you gon' see what's up!," he explained in an interview. "You know they duckin' me they dodging me; I'm that new kid on the block they're scared of, that they know is gettin' all the girls! But they be like 'oh him?' (laughs). But you know it's hurting your feelings every time I get on the freestyle and wreck it till they can't even listen to an instrumental no more. We got a lot of cats who say they freestyling, and you turn on the radio and you hear the same thing that they said they was freestyling a minute ago, you hear that wrote down, you know? A lot of these clowns is just what I said: clowns." (SoJones)
Webstar previously spoke with SOHH after calling Jay-Z an old legend past his prime.
"I'm not gonna say I regret it but I probably wouldn't do it again. I speak my mind and stand up for what I believe in," he said. "I feel nobody else was gonna speak up. I believe that the young people need somebody to speak for them. I'd be more than happy to speak I don't care who it is, Jay-Z, Oprah whoever I speak up against anybody if I feel it's the right thing to do. I love his music I bought all his albums. Just 'cause he's a legend and he's a big hip-hop mogul don't mean he's always right. Nobody's always right but God. I speak for what I believe in." (SOHH)
