Def Jam South president DJ Khaled has warned competing record companies of his 2010 takeover by promising upcoming album releases from Rick Ross, Young Jeezy and Juelz Santana this year.

According to Khaled, he expects to release "great music" through his roster of artists.

"I make great music, I'm passionate, and I'm aware," Khaled explained about himself. "And all these artists I have on my album, they know me personally. They know I'm going to win, they know I'm going to deliver, and they know I'm going to put it out there in the streets. We're working on the new Ross album right now. It's called Teflon Don. I'm the A&R, and I'm the co-executive. But it's not even about that. It's about making great music. And I'm working on Jeezy's new album called Thug Motivation 103. We got Ludacris coming out with Battle of The Sexes, and Juelz Santana is coming. 2010, Def Jam takeover, baby!" (All Hip Hop)

Ross recently said he was anticipating the release of a movie with Birdman to drop when his album comes out.

"What's up, you live on the set, 'Mafia Music 2' off the new album, Teflon Don," Ross said in a video. "Get ready for that, that's gonna be this summer. Movie as well, we're doing big things. This right here is a Maybach Films production -- we actually out here just making a movie. It's a real dope record...We finna change the game once again, stay tuned." (Exclusive Access)

Khaled said he would be working with Ross as part of his "takeover" earlier this year.

"Yeah yeah yeah, DJ Khaled, the road to victory, the year of the victory, 2010, Happy New Year's to everybody," Khaled said in a video recording. "I just wanna send this vlog out to everybody to wish 'em a happy new year, let's get it everybody. Let's all win. Let's win more. All we do is win, you feel me? We the best is the brand, we the best is gonna be on everything. It's gonna be a movie, look out for my album, Victory, it's gonna be a problem. Look out for Ricky Ross, Teflon Don, movie. Shout-out to Young Money, Cash Money out there. You know what it is, you know what I do. Shout-out to my Def Jam team, Def Jam stand up. 2010, Def Jam takeover. I'm going in, it's the year of the victory. Let's get it, happy new year." (Derick G Vimeo)

Last month, Jeezy said a release date for Thug Movtivation 103 had not yet been determined.

"Oh man, sooner than later," Jeezy said about the album's release date. "I'm finishing up now, wrapping up now. I was just in the studio 15 minutes ago. Shout-outs to the homie Swizz [Beatz]. [We're] doing some of everything. You know Swizz will keep you up all night. [We did] like two and half [songs.] Look for the album asap." ("Ed Lover Show")
